One more reason to ask your doctor or health worker if they washed their hands before treating you. Already we knew that 75% don’t comply with accepted hand washing practices. But now we find that 1 in 20 are carriers of the super-bug MRSA. Most (95%) have no sypmtoms of the infection. Here’s the study: Lancet Infect Dis 2008; 8: 289-301
